Future I-160 - High resolution detector

All of our metal detectors and geophysical detecting instruments are part of the "FS - Future Series", a line of our latest technology to detect buried objects and underground structures. Beside the measuring instruments it includes our 3D software which assures a detailed analysis of the measured results.

The Future I-160 is able to detect different ground structures and natural features of the ground. It's a professional measuring instrument with a multi-sensor antenna of 50 cm width. Inside are 16 elliptical area multipoint sensors (EAMS) with a resolution of 0,015 uT and a sampling rate of 50 Hz. This very unique multi-sensor array is able to reflect scanned ground data in a graphical representation within the Visualizer 3D software. Thus the device is able to detect different structures and natural features of the ground like for example:

  • metal canisters, tanks, boxes
  • voids, backfillings, grave chambers, caves and tombs
  • steel pipes and water conduits
  • water deposits

The Future I-160 is a professional measuring instrument with a very high resolution antenna of 50 cm width. Compared to the Future 2005 with its 100 cm antenna the Future I-160 has a four times higher density of measured data. Compared to the Earth Imager with its 16x lower resolution the device is most suitable for the professional archeological and industrial use. This fact is reflected also in the graphical representation inside the software Visualizer 3D.

Detailed graphics are the basis for an exact determination of the size and depth of objects. Because of the compact form of the antenna the device is not only usable for the measurement in even ground conditions. Besides the usual graphical representation the device provides two more particularities. On the one hand it makes buried object immediately visible with the horizontal live picture and on the other hand a typified ultrasound scan can be created with the vertical antenna.

The device includes the following functionality:

  • accoustical magnetometer
  • high resolution ground scans in 3D
  • live picture with horizontal ground scan antenna
  • live picture with vertical pin pointing antenna
  • graphical analysis on a computer

Because of the integrated microprocessor technology ground balance, depth measurement and data storage will be performed automatically by the device. The evaluation of the measured data takes place at the computer where the scanned area can be analyzed in a three-dimensional graphic with the help of the software Visualizer 3D.

Dugout from World War I detected

Dugout from World War I detected

Geophysical investigations with the metal detectors Future I-160 and eXp 4000 over an unimpressive field in Belgium unearthed astonishing discoveries. For 90 years it was hidden deep under the surface of the Belgium ground but now the underground bunker system is explored by british scientists. This is the start of an exciting time travel back into the time of World War I ...

Gemstones and jewelries has been metal detected in Florida, USA

In 2008 an amazing discovery has been made in the United States by using our device Future I-160. Some group of treasure hunters detected a buried brass canon, filled with jewelries and gemstones. Next to it a beautiful jade dragon has been detected.

Future I-160 locates remains of war material

On a field in the UK different objects like ammunition, crockery, remains of fighter planes and even old documents has been found with the geophysical detector Future I-160. Under comprehensive supervision of historians the valuable findings has been excavated and filed. One of the most valuable and interesting items was a well preserved china plate from AJ Wilkinson LTD.

Future I-160 locates remains of a fighter plane

An incredible discovery has been made with the Future I-160 in the city of London, near to Buckingham Palace! With presence of pilot Sgt. Ray Holmes scientist Malcolm Weale, managing director of Geofizz LTD., discovered the engine of a hurricane fighter plane crashed during the Second World War. Channel Five programme reported live that Malcolm's geophysical measuring instrument was so accurate that the hole dug for the crashed plane was not even one foot out.

Fighter plane located in Hungary

Fighter plane located in Hungary

In 2005 some of our customers in Hungary detected the remains of a fighter plane ME 109. During the research they used the geophysical instrument Future I-160. About the historical background of this impressive discovery our customers provided the following information: Captain B. J., commandant of the known Puma squadron did a forced landing near to Abony, 6 km behind the front because of a russian flak hit. The pilot died during this crash landing (4th of november 1944). Because of the russian occupation his remains has been buried together with the rest of his fighter plane in 1948 to hide them from the enemy.
