Future 2005 - Metal and pipe locator
All of our metal detectors and geophysical detecting instruments are part of the "FS - Future Series", a line of our latest technology to detect buried objects and underground structures. Beside the measuring instruments it includes our 3D software which assures a detailed analysis of the measured results.
The Future 2005 is based on an electromagnetic pulse method which can be used to select anomalies in the target area. Thus the device is able to detect different structures and natural features of the ground like for example:
- metal canisters, tanks, boxes
- voids, grave chambers, caves and tombs
- steel pipes and water conduits
The Future 2005 is a professional measuring instrument with a very high resolution antenna of 100 cm width. Compared to the Rover devices with its testers and coil probes, the Future 2005 offers a 8x higher density of measured data. Compared to the Earth Imager with its 8x lower resolution the device is most suitable for the professional archeological use. This fact is reflected also in the grafical representation inside the 3D software. Detailed graphics are the basis for an exact determination of the size and depth of objects. Because of the extented antenna the device is most suitable in large and even fields. Besides the usual graphical representation the device provides two more particularities. On the one hand it makes buried object immediately visible with the horizontal live picture and on the other hand a typified ultrasound scan can be created with the vertical antenna.
The device includes the following functionality:
- accoustical magnetometer
- high resolution ground scans in 3D
- live picture with horizontal ground scan antenna
- live picture with vertical pin pointing antenna
- graphical analysis on a computer
Because of the integrated microprocessor technology ground balance, depth measurement and data storage will be performed automatically by the device. The evaluation of the measured data takes place at the computer where the scanned area can be analyzed in a three-dimensional graphic with the help of the 3D software.

Also in the beginning of 2008 satisfied customers inform us about their new discoveries with one of our metal detectors. An old grave including human remains together with some copper rings, and valuable historical goat or sheep bells has been detected in Iran by using the Future 2005. The grave, probably the tomb of a shepherd, including its valuable objects has been located in a depth of 210 cm in clay soil. The ancient bells with sizes 10 cm, 12 cm, 15 cm length and 6 cm, 9 cm, 13 cm width show different forms and unique structures. Each bell includes 1, 2 or 3 small balls who create the pleasant sound when ringing the bell. In former times bells were hung on goats or sheep to keep evil spirits away, so does inhabitants tell.
