A successful treasure hunter found a small ancient bronze vase in more than 4 m depth with his ground scanner eXp 6000. The province of Ilam in the west of Iran was a part of the kingdom of Elan and became a part of the Persian empire later. This region is rich of archaeological sites, ruins and bridges from the Sassanid era, making it an ideal place for archaeologists, adventurer and treasurer hunters.


A treasure hunter from Iran sucessfully located an ancient grave with his 3d metal detector eXp 4000 from OKM. Inside the grave he discovered several bronze artifacts like figurines and ancient bells. The treasure hunter processed a measurement in operating mode 'Ground Scan' on clay underground and located the treasure find in an approximate depth of 242 cm.


Using the 3d ground scanner and metal detector eXp 4500 one of our customers and treasure hunters successfully located these ancient weapons. The swords, knifes and spearheads has been found in a depth of 2.80 meters.


A large amount of more than 800 pieces of ancient coins has been detected by treasure hunters in Syria. They found the hoard by using the eXp 4000 metal detector and 3d ground scanner. This coin cache is very valuable and the value of each single coin is estimated from 150 - 8000 Euro.


Once again customers from the Middle East area informed us about new finds with their treasure detector eXp 4000. The precious ancient artifacts has been excavated in Syria. These very special targets were hidden about 1,20 m underground. The measurements in eXp 4000's Ground Scan mode has been confirmed before digging with the DDV system (visual metal detector system with metal discrimination).


Due to the particular qualities of the gold detectors you are able to search for precious metals like gold, silver and bronze.


Another successful iranian treasure hunter found lots of ancient household items like this dish made of bronze. The objects were detected in 4 meters depth with the OKM ground scanner Rover Deluxe. In past centuries the people often buried such items with the corpse of their relatives. Those burial objects should help the deceased in their life after death.


Treasure hunting in Tunisia is not only a great adventure, it is also very successful. An example is one of our customers who detected an underground tomb at a depth of 1.60 meters. He used his Rover Deluxe - a 3d metal detector - to scan a historical treasure area. Then he discovered a hidden anomaly, which was visualized in a 3d scan image and identified as an ancient tomb. After opening the tomb he found a skeleton with bronze earrings.


A successful treasure hunter from Kermanshah in Iran informed us about his latest treasure find. With the OKM ground scanner eXp 4000 he detected this historical figure made of bronze in 1,65 m depth. The artefact has a size of 5 cm x 3 cm x 4 cm and shows the head of an animal with bent horns. Unfortunately the treasure hunter was not able to give us more detailed information. Maybe you know what ancient artifact this is?


Some successful treasure hunters wrote an email with the following content: "Our team found some treasures. We found some bronze objects in an old tomb. The finds are from about 1700 years ago. I attached one of it with this email. It is a bowie knife. [...] I have a basic package of eXp 5000".
