The Future 2018 is a very special metal detector and 3d ground scanner from OKM's long lasting series of detection technology - the Future Series. It is specially designed for beginners in the field of 3d measurements and offers easy operation as well as advanced scanning features. The Future 2018 metal detector fits in everybody's budget and assists treasure hunters to discover hidden treasures, lost artifacts and buried historical items.


One of our customers found some late medieval artifacts in North Iran with the 3D ground scanner Future I-160 at a depth of 6 meters.

In June 2000 our general manager Mr. Krauß introduced one of his new 3d ground scanners at a treasure hunters meeting in Germany. The Future 2001 (as the metal detector was named) has also been demonstrated in a live field test, that was observed by German television. All interested treasure hunters, gold seekers and archaeologists took the opportunity to get as much information as possible about the new metal detecting device, which is also able to visualize the measure values of the scanned underground in graphical 3d representations.


On a field in the UK different objects like ammunition, crockery, remains of fighter planes and even old documents has been found with the geophysical detector Future I-160. Under comprehensive supervision of historians the valuable findings has been excavated and filed. One of the most valuable and interesting items was a well preserved china plate from AJ Wilkinson LTD.


To locate a treasure with one of our metal detector products or geophysical instruments is very easy. Our treasure hunting devices are also suitable for beginners or users with less experience in metal detection.
