Ground scanner eXp 4000 localized treasure chest with coin treasure in Mexico

Mexico is well known for its hidden treasures. Besides the famous ruins of Tenochtitla, an ancient aztec-city, or Chichen-Itza, a historic mayan-city, there are a lot of gold and silver treasures buried deep under the Mexican ground. The search for the lost treasures was a big adventure for one of our customers too, which was worth the trouble. The treasure hunter detected an ancient treasure chest with valuable contents by using the eXp 4000 ground scanner and 3d metal detector. The coin treasure which was hidden in the chest has been detected in a depth of about 1.5 meters. A highlight for every treasure hunter.

The treasure chest was mostly filled with silver coins, whereas some of the coins are still an authorized medium of circulation.

Many thiefs or pirats were hoarding treasures in ancient times and very often they buried it deep into the ground to protect it against other thiefs. Many of those treasures are still lying in the ground waiting to be discovered. A treasure hunter from Nuevo León in Mexico succeeded to find such a treasure. He was using the eXp 4000 ground scanner and 3d metal detector and detected an ancient treasure chest filled with coins and other valuable artifacts. The treasure chest has been discovered in a depth of about 1.5 meters.

The treasure chest was filled with many coins. Also a riffle was placed into the treasure chest.
Besides all the coins there was a silver plate and a wondrous ceramic mask.

Amongst the coins some Mexican Libertad silver coins has beed detected, which are still an authorized medium of circulation nowadays. Also historical coins from former times of Mexico has been identified. Besides the coins there was an old riffle, a ceramic mask as well as silver plates and other artifacts. The treasure chest has been discovered near Nuevo León, a federal state in the north of Mexico. Capital city and most important area of high population density of this region is Monterrey.

The following coins has been identified within the treasure chest:

Silver coins from 1873 and 1875.
This 1 ounce coin is from 1978.
Mexican coins from 1913.
Silver coins from 1922.
Libertad
